      Lawn Boy's incredibly profitable summer continues. Now his stockbroker Arnold hires a staff to help run the Lawn Boy's growing business. A dicey character named Zed enters the picture, claiming to be a relative of Joey Pow, the winning boxer that Lawn Boy sponsors. And who is trying to throw Joey Pow's fights? The jaw-dropping ludicrousness of Lawn Boy's situation doesn't soar as highly as the original, but his story is outrageous all the same. And it's nice to see Lawn Boy finally recognize his true priorities.

      Although I wasn't quite as entralled with the sequel to LAWNBOY as I expected to be, it is still a must read for fans of the first book. Much has changed in the 6 weeks since the narrator's lawn care business has made him a millionaire. Wacky Grandma is taking care of him while his folks are on vacation. His assets keep accumulating, stress keeps rising and a yearning for returning to the carefree life of a kid gets bigger. (Grades 3-6)

      In the sequel to Lawn Boy, we find the Lawn Boy's business has grown out of control. Now he has lawyers and accountants and bigger problems with taxes, and people who want a piece of his action. I enjoyed this book as much as I did the first one. A must read for all middle schoolers who like adventure.
