Author, poet and hip hop artist Karl Nova has won this year’s Ruth Rendell Award. The award, launched in 2016, celebrates an author who has done outstanding work to champion literacy. Karl was praised for his ‘unwavering commitment’ to inspiring young readers and writers, with more than 75 visits to schools and other events this year, in person and virtually, reported .
