Struck by a waterspout
We were the second owners of Tavi, our Finnsailer 36, which became part of our lives on the river Hamble in 1998. After undergoing an extensive refit, Tavi sailed out of Plymouth the following June in a thick fog for a four-day crossing of the Bay of Biscay. My wife, Rosemary, and I spent that winter as liveaboards in Torrevieja, Spain.
