I’m just trying to imagine, well, this is what it was like during the war for my grandparents, except that we’re not facing bombings or Japanese troops knocking on your door wanting to take you away. We just have to be disciplined and cooperative for the sake of the greater community—and that’s new for so many of us in this country.
