225g unsalted butter, chopped1 ½ cups caster sugar½ cup brown sugar, firmly packed2 cups milk1/3 cup cocoa powder1 tsp bicarbonate of soda4 eggs, lightly beaten2 2/3 cups self-raising flour¾ cup bottled salted caramel sauce, warmed and cooled
