THE A TO Z of staying home
ARMCHAIR TRAVEL
Soon it’ll be safe to fly again—give yourself something to look forward to and start planning now. Domestic trips are likely to be possible well before any international adventure, so where should you go? Holiday expert Georgia Hopkins, founder of travel platform It’s Beautiful Here (itsbeautifulhere.com), shares her top local picks:
Surf Coast, Vic: “I am very much in love with Jan Juc, a tiny little pocket of the coast next to Torquay. There is a gorgeous Airbnb, Sea Joy Studio, not far from Bells Beach that makes for the perfect base.” airbnb.com.au
Hobart, Tas: “It is so wild and rugged and authentic. Locals are so friendly, the air is so fresh. There are many places I adore down there…one is the beautiful Captains Cottage in Hobart. I will eat at Templo and drink at Sonny.” captainscottagehobart.com; templo.com.au; sonny.com.au
Jervis Bay, NSW: “The South Coast of New South Wales was hit hard by the fires last summer. [I am keen] to get back to Jervis Bay, where the beaches are known as having the whitest sand in the world. Paperbark Camp…is a [chic] place to unwind.” paperbarkcamp.com.au

At the top of your breath try to hold it, then exhale [fully]. We often think the breath in is the key part, but actually the exhale is really important.”
