Beware a change of course

What happens when a fund you are invested in changes category. Should you stay, or should you go?

Recently, a pop­u­lar mutual fund (MF), Mirae Asset India Equity, changed its category from multi-cap to large-cap. Although the fund has been a stellar performer, the change didn't go down well with the investors as they worried if the fund would be able to maintain performance.
