I had the perfect upbringing as a youngster, enjoying my primary school years in Springs, my birthplace.
High school was at Saint Andrew’s in Bloemfontein. I adapted to the boarding school environment, balancing sports and academics. From there I did a post-matric year at Bishops Cape Town. Then I was off to UCT – and things changed.
The dark world beckons
The shift happened fairly rapidly. I'd always had a curious fascination in the dark world. I was attracted to those things we were taught not to do.
