Post-it scarf

This is a real springscarf, not too warm and very decorative. I used Barka Mandarin yarn in shades Borbolya (pink) and Kikelet (yellow). The bambooyarn gives this airy and easy pattern marvelous drape and its soft touch is so good .

You need to crochet this scarf: Yarn: 1 skein (50 g) Barka Mandarin Borbolya 100 % bambooyarn Crochet hook: 4,5 mm (US 7) Stitch markers or remaining yarnpieces Scissors

Post-it scarf is 205 cm (80,7 in) long and 5 cm (2 in) wide, and its weight is 50 g.

Lets crochet the scarf! Leave 10 cm (3,9 in) long yarnend, make slip knot and make 5 + 35 x 10 = 355 chain stiches. Place marker in every 35th chain, it will be a big help in the next row because you dont need to count the stitches. Put the first stitch marker in the 5th chain and in the every 35th chain.

Row 1: Turn your work and make 2 chains. Crochet 4 double crochets (dc) in the next 4 chains of the previous row. Make 30 chains.

*Make 1 dc in the next marked chain and crochet 4 dc in the next 4 chains. Crochet now 30 dc-s* and repeat * * until the end of the row. Be careful and dont twist the chainrows.

Row 2: Turn your work and make 2 chains. Crochet 4 dc-s in the top of the next 4 dc-s (not between dc-s) of the row 1. Make 30 chains. *Make 5 dc-s in the next 5 dc-s of the row 1. Crochet now 30 dc-s* and repeat * * until the end of the row.

Row 3: same as row 2. Row 4: same as row 2.

Row 5. Same as row 2. At the end of this row cut the yarn and leave 10 cm (3,9 in) yarnend.

Cut 50 pieces of yarn in length 20 cm (7,9 in), and hold together 5-5 pieces. Fold in half these tassels and fasten with crochet hook on the ends of the scarf (5 tassels on the one end and 5 tassels on the other end). The yarnends are the same lenght as the tassels, so they hidden in it. Iron the threads and cut its ends carefully on the same length.
