    There was / there were es utilizado para indicar que haba o no algo o alguien.

    THERE WAS There was se usa para indicar que haba una sola cosa o persona. Se utiliza con nombres contables en singular e incontables. Con los nombres contables en singular se usa el artculo indefinido a/an. Con los nombres incontables se suele usar some en afirmativo y any en negativo e interrogativo.
