DECALOGUE OF A GOOD
NOTEBOOK
Everything you should take into account to have a
well –organized notebook.

1. Your notebook must be complete, so you should check if you have all the
activities on it. All the activities must be corrected.

2. Margins: Important issue. You may try to write on the same vertical line. If
your notebook doesn´t have that line, you should use the rule to make a
line which will be useful as a reference.

3. TITLES: It has to be clear that something is a title. It must be in capital

letters, different color if possible and underlined.

4. You need to number all the pages, so that when you study, it will be
easier for you.

5. You must pay attention to your handwriting: write clear, and in case you
make a mistake, don´t make a crossing out but just a line like this:
America.

6. Most of notebooks have a grid. This is useful to assign the space you are
going to use for each line. You must try to assign the same space always
(this way, it will give the reader the impression of order and organization).

7. If you use correction fluid (tippex), you need to be careful and don´t
spread it out in the sheet because this would make the impression of dirt
or untidy notebook.

8. You must use always a title page, in which you say: subject, name and
surname, group, course, etc. in a nice way.

9. It must be a blank page at the end of the notebook.

10. If you have to submit the notebook to a teacher, you must put it into a
folder or something like that.
