OBITUARY
Gary L. Garner
Mr. Gary L. Garner, 63, of Sand Lake,
passed away on Sunday morning, Sept. 5,
2010.
He met the love of his life at a dance.
After Gary found out that Dale worked in a
restaurant in Greenville, he was a frequent
customer. After a year of a loving courtship,
they eloped to Mexico and were married on
Feb. 25, 1968. They stayed in California
where Gary worked as an auto mechanic.
As their family grew, Gary and Dale moved
back here and settled on the lake. He then
worked for Westinghouse (now Knoll Furni-
ture, Inc.) until his retirement. When Gary
and Dale bought their home on the lake, it
was really a run-down place. With lots of
love, companionship, and work, they made
their home on the lake, a place of comfort
for family and friends. Gary enjoyed play-
ing practical jokes. He really liked antiqu-
ing and going to yard sales. Gary had a tal-
ent for turning his purchases into objects
of beauty. He and Dale also liked to travel.
They visited many foreign countries and

Influenza – Alternatives to getting the Flu shot

We Accept Most Insurance. $25 charge to patients without coverage.

Soon flu season will upon us. People still die from complications of the flu (36,000 last year). So
there is a lot of fear about getting the flu and also about getting flu shots.
Some people cannot take the flu shot because of allergic reactions to them, and some just
do not want to get a shot, period. Well, the great news is there are inexpensive alternatives that
have worked very well in the past. Take Vitamin C 500mg three or four times per day. Preventive
remedies include: Herbs, Oils, and Homeopathics. Echinacea/goldenseal at the onset of cold
symptoms or taken every day, day 1-25 of each month with 5 days off, seems to work quite
well. Elderberry defense, Bronchial Formula, and VSC all help with viral infections in general. The

the area) and Influenzinum 30C (once per week initially and one daily if you have been exposed) A Feature Rich Device
are excellent preventers of influenza.
If you get the flu, there is good treatment using Oscillo 200 C, one vial of granules twice per day

aches, dull feeling, and extreme weakness. Arsenicum 30 C is good for flu Without a Smart Phone Rate Plan
with vomiting, diarrhea, headache, restlessness and anxiety. Byronia 30 C
is good for slow onset, severe headache, irritable, wants to be left alone.
Belladonna 30 C is good for rapid onset, very high fever, headache, red face,
dilated pupils.
So do not be afraid, you can prevent and treat influenza without getting
a flu shot. Remember never use aspirin containing products when you think
you have the flu. It may cause a serious Reyes Syndrome-like complication in
adults and children.
