span clamps assure consistent, reliable strain relief where installation technique is most critical-at the drop wire takeoff from the strand. All span clamp bolts are made with high-strength 1008 steel. Q span bolt is mechanically galvanized compliant with ASTM 8695 class 50 specifications and the D steel jaws have a tensile strength of 55,000 psi. Jaws of Q span clamp made from Grade 5 steel. Q span clamp includes 3/8 inch bolt.
