Pregnant teenagers experience the same problems as older pregnant women may have.

There are, however, additional complications for mothers aged 15-19. For example low birth weight, premature labour and anaemia are connected to the biological age itself. On the one hand, teen moms have to quit secondary school because they need to earn money to feed their babies and to take care of them. That means their jobs will be bad, and sometimes they doesnt have enough money to take care of the baby. In addition sometimes teenagers familys doesnt want to know anything about their and the babys. On the other hand, even if it is a small chance, is that the teen mother will learn how to become responsible. Use of drugs has increased among young people. We should prevent the drug use because we dont know what they effects are. Taking drugs can be dangerous not only for your body; also they can modify our feels and mood. Therefore people think that drugs are funny and they arent unhealthy for our body but actually, they are addictive and when you use it you need more for feel happy or euphoria and they result in a chemical process that you cannot control. To prevent their use we have to find information and if we want to use drugs we have to know their effects and consequences. You cant know how will affect the drug in your body, everybody its different. In fact there is an investigation who claims that 75 % of people who use drugs are addict. Will you use it if you can become an addict?

Nowadays, the corruption is one of most important socials issues, because we are now crossing an economic and social crisis, and of the cause is the corruption. Recently, the corruption arrives from the government, and from the political authorities, normally, the corruption has an economical finality, and get from the overuse of the power that have the authorities tricking the citizens from the country. One the one hand, the corruption take on the extremes, create the mistrust of the population, and normally when the corruption is very important, we talk about from countries that subdue an a dictatorial government, unfortunately, this situations are happen in a lot of countries, specially in developing countries.

On the other hand, we have countries that are developed, and also suffer the corruption of the government, and produces de discontented of the population, and make demonstrations of the people, and create a badly situation to take off the country of the crisis. In conclusion, the corruption, had a lot of disadvantages and any advantage for the citizens, If the people cooperate to create a better world, the corruption will be a social issue that we hasnt worry for anything. The pollution is a big problem that is affecting the world a lot nowadays. Lately the world is getting more affected and there is a hole in the atmosphere which is getting bigger and bigger. However, there are some things that humans can do to prevent it. On one hand, people should use more public transport. It is cheaper and it pollutes less tan private transport. Another way to prevent the pollution in our world would be using the bicycle to arrive to the places. On the other hand, factories shouldnt produce too much smoke because it affects the environment, the plants, the animals Moreover, people ought to recycle, its very easy and it is a great help for the world. In conclusion, the pollution is a grave problem affecting our planet, but if we are together in this, we can solve it.
JUDIT A. Abortion Abortion is a very controversial issue. Many people are pro-life, they consider abortion murder. However, there are many who think that it should be legal, women should have the choice to abort due to the effects that having a child would have on their life and the babys. On the one hand, pro-lifers believe the abortion should not be legal, they say that the fetus is something alive, a human being who is partly formed and to do abortion is to kill it and commit murder.

On the other hand, some say that parents should have the right to choose and it is not murder until the baby is born. The right of an abortion for a mother should be left on her own decision as the mother knows best about her condition. In conclusion, I think that abortion has to be seen about which stage the fetus is in. If it is in the very early stage, then it is not murder. But if it has already developed into a larger fetus, it can be considered as murder. BEA SUICIDE Suicide has existed during all the history of humanity. There are many ways to commit suicide but in the end its always the same. Just death. I think that it has a lot of disadvantages but maybe some people think that is the only way to act. The main disadvantage of committing suicide is that you stop living, your life is over and it will be forever. I think people must be really sure of what they are going to do and think in all the consequences this action will have before everything. Apart from dying you leave people that love you and will miss you, and will suffer a lot. I think committing suicide hasn't any advantage so I will talk about ways for trying to avoid it. Studies say that in most of the cases of people killing themselves, people around that person didn't imagine that something like that would happen. I think that if a person told me that he or she wants to end up with his or her life I would try to help them, talking about all the good things their life has and trying to make their problems easier. Maybe if I feel that I couldn't do anything more for he or she I will talk to a psychologist or someone that could help. Society today has the concept of the ideal woman as a thin person and there is a huge social pressure to be that way. A lot of women stop eating or throw up the food and these actions are psychological illness may become harmful to health. Eating disorders dont have any positive part. Firstly, if you throw up the food or you don't eat, your body suffers, you will need vitamins and energy and you're not gonna be able to withstand the daily rhythm and you'll feel more tired. If the disease worsens you can suffer hair and loss the menstruation, your character becomes aggressive and easily irritated you, and in extreme situations you will change your personality You can avoid this disease feeling comfortable with your body, don't having complex , not

Bullying
Bully is to overbear a person who is smaller or wicker than you. Bully is nowadays on the top of social issues, more than the a half of the population have suffered bullying once. This problem is very dangerous because when the person who is being bullied gets enough he can make strong decisions such as suicide.

In my opinion, people who had suffered that must tried to help the others; furthermore the best way to forget your situations is having a friend. Perhaps this person is also being bullied, but the mutual support can make people be strong, even happier that the bully. As far as Im concerned, I wouldnt bear the weight of being annoyed and undervalued for long time. This people have one of the strongest capacities of self-esteem. Because of bully a very important part of the world population had committed suicide, one of the solutions is having the faith to tell someone the problems, but you must tell them at the beginning because sometimes its maybe too late. To sum up bully is one of the social issues that have been affected a big part of the population and its been done in many different ways so when you see one person involved you must talk to him and give him the esteem to make him understand that he is not alone. ABORTION
I think Spain isnt a really backward country. Ive heard that they want to change the law although now it isnt as bad as other countries. They say that now is so openminded and lots of girls doesnt worry if they get pregnant and they are so young or maybe they havent a economic situation enough good for grow up a baby unless their parents help them with the baby. There are different kinds of abortion depending on the weeks youve been pregnant and if you really wish that it doesnt hurt. Its comparatively cheap if you think what is coming on, because maybe you can afford the first year, but maybe not the second, the third. If you know that you cant afford the first year, it becomes a really good option. The government wants to forbid all abortion kinds excepting if youve been raped, in this case, having two different opinions of doctors according that you are allowed to abort. Any of this doctors cant be your usual doctor, so that increases the waste of money. In my opinion they are getting mad because thousand of young girls get pregnant by an accident or of the wrong boy. Its true that hardening the law, people that believe in abortion will think it twice before doing. As some years ago, illegal clinics will appear with less hygienic care and really expensive prices. People will have to go to France, Portugal or London depending on where it is cheaper. In conclusion, our government is so conservative, probably more than what is needed and they will make a mistake approving this new law.

A gang is a group of recurrently associating individuals or close friends with identifiable leadership and internal organization, identifying with or claiming control over territory in a community, and engaging either individually or collectively in violent or other forms of illegal behaviour. On the one hand there are the members, and on the other hand are the leaders. The leaders are the upper echelons of the gangs command. This gang member is probably the oldest in the posse and likely has the smallest criminal record and they often have the power to direct the gangs activity. The dangerous part of the gang activity is his gang bangs or gang battles. This battles confront two different bands, which they have different bases. In the USA, more than 100.000 people (Black, Mexicans and other people). In conclusion, gangs are one of the most social issues and one of the most dangerous street problems.

The drugs have existed in our society for a long time. They have worsened peoples lives and killed them. However, there might be some advantages. On the one hand, drugs are very bad for persons. Furthermore drugs have killed a lot of persons in the last years. A lot of rich persons or celebrities consume them so I think that drugs affects more in the rich persons that the middle society. On the other hand, drugs have good effects if you consume it when you have medical problems. To some patients of very harmful diseases, doctors give him or her therapeutically marihuana so they can decrease her or his pain. In conclusion I think that drugs have a lot of bad things and a little of good thinks so I think that drugs are bad for persons.

Organ donation
Saving lives is very important. Thats the reason why many people are an organ donor. The average of people who dies while they are waiting for transplant is 19 people each day. Organ donation is the process of removal and transplantation of organs from donor to recipient. It has been arguing in the society whether or not it should be compulsory for everyone to donate one of their organs when they die. To be an organ donor you must register in the department of health in la Generalitat de Catalunya and tell your friends and family. I want to be an organ donor because if it isnt useful when you are dead it is better to save people. You must be over 18. If I were 18 I would be a donor. In conclusion, organ donation is very important because it saves lives. IGNASI

Immigration

Immigration has existed since remote ages. The human beings always try to have the best life conditions. Most of people from poor countries the make long journeys to arrive to better countries. However, not always all poor people have wanted to move, because they feel a feeling of belonging to their countries and traditions. Nevertheless, both decisions have good and bad consequences On the one hand, staying in their countries means living in a very poor condition. These conditions make people to think of moving from their countries. If they had had better conditions, they wouldnt consider the option of moving from their country. In addition, usually, in these countries, they have no rights, so its very difficult to live there. Furthermore, most of poor countries are in war On the other hand, leaving their countries, they leave back all their family, habits, and traditions. They have to integrate in a different society, and they are not always very good accepted. If they were better accepted they would be more comfortable in other countries. In conclusion, if people were aware of this situation I think they would try to help. I think people need to be more conscious about the real actual situation that they live every day in their countries and try to help them. PABLO

Abortion
Lately there has been some discussion because of the new abortion law. Politics have said that you can only abort in especial situations, such us rape or in case that it affects physically or psychologically the pregnant woman. Abortion situation depends of the country you are, because there are different politics and different cultures. On the one hand, there are countries like United States that abortion is not permitted even if you have been raped. In case youve been raped, the rapist, who is a criminal, will have to be the father of the baby. In my opinion thats very unfair for the woman who has been raped, because the law says that the rapist has to pay the costs to bring up the baby, and that means the raped woman and the rapist have to keep in touch. On the other hand, abortion is allowed in different situations, for example in case of rape, not like in United States. In addition, you can abort when it has negative effects to the woman. In Spain, abortion in this situations is permitted, but if the pregnancy is not desired the law says you cannot abort. To sump up, abortion is a very debatable topic, which it seems to have different opinions in different points of view. I think that its not really fair that the law has to be approved by men, because who has to have the baby inside during nine moths is the woman, and I think her opinion is more important than mens opinion. By no means Im saying that mens opinions has no importance, however women are who carry the baby until the end. MAR B-

EATING DISORDERS
Eating disorders are a recent social issue that lately has increased a lot. Nowadays, more and more people cant put up with social pressure. This disease is very serious because lots of people die every year because of it, but it seems like we dont do anything to solve it. On one hand, there are lots of webs and books to help and inform people about it. I think that at school and at home people are aware of it. But on the other hand, all models are thin and beautiful. In fact, there are only a few singers and actors that arent thin and perfect. I think this makes a lot of pressure on teenagers because all their idols are so perfect that they have to suffer a lot to look like them.

To sum up, there are a lot of things that we should change if we want this desease to disappear, but we don't do it. I believe it's a serious problem and if you know someone who's suffering you should help them.

Should abortion be legal?

In a study published in 2007, it is estimated that in the world are between 42 and 46 million abortions per year. 25 per cent of the world population lives in 54 countries that it is completely forbidden to abort. On the one hand, I think that abortion has to be legal worldwide. Imagine that a woman gets pregnant because of a rape. She would like to abort because she wouldnt want to have the baby. Also, many women dont have the financial resources to support a child and they decide to abort, because they dont want to give them a bad live. Besides, personhood begins at birth, not at conception and abortion is the termination of a pregnancy, not of a baby. In conclusion, I think that abortion should be legal because women have the right to do whatever they want whit their live and bodies. MARIO

Euthanasia
The legalization of euthanasia has been one of the most controversial discussions in many countries around the world. Many terminally-ill patients do not have a possibility to recover, but the laws do not allow doctors to end their lives. One the one hand I think that euthanasia helps the patients alleviate their pain, suffering and depression. For instance, the patients who have some terrible disease must be in the hospital bed with miserable pain each day. Therefore, that individuals decision should be carried out because they have that right to their own personal decisions, which is only one of many reasons why euthanasia should be legalized. One the other hand, there are also drawbacks, emotional and physical imposed on family members, relatives, and friends of patients. Besides, their family members who are sensitive may have a bad period. Consequently, patients may feel guilty in this entire ordeal, may even become more severely ill. Obviously, the patients will not need to worry about their family and their pain anymore once euthanasia is done. To sum up, I think that euthanasia should be permitted for the individual liberty and general benefits of society. CLAUDIA

ABORTION The abortion is the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy. There are a lot of cases of abortion nowadays, although not all of them are legal. For example, at present in Spain the government wants to approve a law that forbid the abortion. I agree with this law; I dont know why but I support that the abortion is forbidden because if you dont want to be pregnant, you have to be conscious, be cautious and use measures. On one hand, many people believe that abortion have good advantages because if you are pregnant and your embryo is not healthy you can choose about if you want have the child or not. But on the other hand the abortion can be dangerous for your health and for you; because if you are pregnant, I think that the embryo its a person and you can not kill him. In conclusion, there are a lot of people that disagree with this new law that has been imposed in some countries such as Spain. But also, there are people, like me, that believe that this law is positive for everyone, because we have to be aware of what we want. If you want a baby, you can not use preventive measures, but if you dont want a baby, you must use measures and be cautious. MARIA C.

Homelessness is a word that refers to the people who havent got a place to sleep in (or anything else). In this situation, everything is bad both for the people themselves or their families. I think that most people that are homelessness used to be alcoholics or they consume drugs, and thats the reason why these people are in this situation. There are also people who had a good life and they could pay all the expenses that the house requires, but one day, they decided to invest all their money in stock because they thought that they knew about stock but they failed. Even famous people have become homeless. For example Maradona, didnt arrive to the situation that he did not have anywhere to live in, but he got a lot of money, and he decided to invest and he lost all the money and his credit card was at zero. In conclusion, its very sad when you walk where ever on the street and you see homeless people. Its signal of dirt and poverty in the country where homeless people are. Now there are solidarity people that organize in pavilions some beds for this people.

CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
The death penalty nowadays is legal in some places around the world, but in the past in most places it used to be this punishment. Some people agree with this but some others disagree with it. In my opinion, I agree with this punishment because in Spain prisons are ridiculous. In the prison you have a TV, a bed and you can eat and drink better that if you havent enough money. So If I were a person who doesnt have anything I would commit a crime and I will have a better life. On the one hand I understand that anybody can destroy one life but on the other hand some people that commit crimes such as murderer, violation you destroy the life of other people, so you have to pay for it. In conclusion, I think that death penalty should be legal in some situations and when you are sure that somebody is guilty. MARIA V.

BULLYING
For me bullying is a conscious effort which is designed to cause harm to another person, physically or emotionally. Bullying can turn violent and if it goes bigger, it can end in death. There are many causes of bullying like they have problems at home, think it's cool and funny, they have an aggressive personality, jealousy, revenge... Some people bully to get power; they think if you push people around and make them do what you want them to do, you will get noticed. They think that it makes them feel cool and they get attention they become popular but some bullies do it just because they like to hurt people see the victim cry. Most people think if you are popular you can get away with things that they know isn't right. Some common causes of bullying are when kids don't have enough supervision. They think they can get away with anything. Another cause is that some people just have an aggressive personality.

In my opinion, people who hurt people for being more popular do it because they don't have any good things or affect other people to become popular and for that, they do things that other people wouldn't have done. For me bullies have to pay all things they have done because there aren't simple things. They can cause death or disorders in the person who is bullied. SERGI M.
Eating disorders
Eating disorders are an important issue, basically in adolescent girls. They are less frequent in men. Eating disorders are divided into two diagnostic categories: anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa. However, both of them have a common point: the patient wont eat because he might be feeling fat or ugly. For experts its important that the patient receives a treatment in a special clinic. But nowadays is it told that the most interned patients in these clinics never recovers, because the pressure of the other interned patients of getting thinner is bigger. So now, there is another treatment which only needs a doctor and psychologist help, and of course, the family and friends help. On one hand, you might thing how can people who suffer this stupid disorder? Its easy, if you feel uncomfortable with your body you only need to work out more or eat less fast food. But that is how the anorexia girls started, and become an obsession. In my opinion, its difficult to recover from this illness but not impossible. With lots of help and self esteem it can be possible. We just need to raise more our own beautiful body and less trying to be models or tv actresses, because nobody is perfect we are simply different in our own way.

Animals have been in the earth for a lot of years before humans, but when humans arrived they started killing and using animals for our benefice. However, might animals have rights? On the one hand, they are living creatures so they deserve rights, but in the other

hand, humans use animals to survive, furthermore, some humans take care from some animals named pets. In my opinion, humanity is nowadays abusing the animals because we are destroying their habitats and they cant defence it so anyone should tell humans to stop. In conclusion, I think that we need to change this style of living, because we depends on other living creatures to survive searching a solution. Xavier

SAME SEX MARRIAGE

The same sex marriage is a marriage between to persons of the same sex. In this century, some countries in Europe have legalized the marriage: Denmark, Norway, Portugal, Iceland Some people say that this is against the religion or that men only can be with women. Furthermore, they say that children cant grow up with a couple of the same sex. These people have the fault that many teenagers or adults cant say that they are gays or lesbians, they are afraid of what people will think about them. On the other hand, some people might say that everyone can be with whoever they want to be. In my opinion, you should be able to marry the person you love, even if your couple is the same gender as you. Moreover, I think the same sex marriage is as normal as another marriage.
