It was a Thursday school morning as Tim awoke and ran down stairs to see his mum frying eggs in a pan (chemical/physical). He sat at the table and his mum placed a hot cup of tea in front of him from which he noticed wisps of steam rising from the cup (chemical/physical). He plopped two sugar cubes into his tea and stirred them as they dissolved (chemical/physical). He then scoffed his food and ran off to school. As he sat down to his science lesson he noticed condensation on all the windows from his classmates breath (chemical /physical). He spent the morning doing an experiment where he mixed acids with metals and watched them fizz (chemical/physical). At lunch time he opened his opened lunch box only to get a smelly whiff of a banana he had left in there from the day before that rotted over night (chemical/physical). He flung the banana at the girls table and giggled as he heard them squeal. He finished his lunch and headed off to his afternoon P.E. lesson. As he played football he could feel the energy from his lunch as his body digested the food (chemical/ physical) but after Tim had run around and around his muscles finally started to cramp as lactic acid built up (chemical/physical). His lesson had finished, he had got changed and headed off home. He opened the gate to his garden and heard the hinge squeak because the metal had gone rusty in the rain (chemical/physical). After dinner Tim was feeling exhausted because it had been such a long day, so he went off to bed. He lay down to read his book. Suddenly he heard a series of loud bangs and he opened his curtains to see fireworks lighting up the sky as they exploded (chemical/physical). He watched the display finish and then fell asleep.
