SEAMLESS JOIN
Al iniciar una nueva vuelta con 3 cadenetas, estas se notan muchsimo, en la siguiente imagen se ve mejor el comienzo y cierre de cada vuelta. Ahora comenzamos con las tcnicas para evitar este resultado tan poco atractivo, los standing stitches y la unin invisible English: The result of a flat circle using ch3 for starting a new round, as you can see in the photo below, it is not very attractive because you can see the placement of each join. CMO EVITAR ESTO? Es fcil, combinando los standing stitches y la unin invisible (seamless join). Creo que os encantarn. La funcin de los STANDING STITCHES es sustituir DE FORMA INVISIBLE las cadenetas necesarias para empezar una nueva vuelta, con el MISMO O DIFERENTE COLOR de hilo. Los podis usar para trabajar en crculos, en motivos tipo granny squares, y tambin para trabajar en filas, aunque esto lo veremos en la prxima entrada.

STANDING STITCHES
CRCULOS 1 SOLO COLOR / CROCHETING IN THE ROUND WITH 1 COLOR Esta tcnica la descubr hace tiempo en Youtube y aunque NO ES realmente un STANDING STITCH ya que se usa para trabajar en filas, en mi opinin funciona mejor para trabajar en crculos. NO HAY QUE CORTAR el hilo y hacer una unin invisible como he ledo por ah, esta tcnica no es perfecta pero s muchsimo mejor que las 3 cadenetas: 1: Hacer una lazada cuya altura sea aproximadamente la de 1 punto alto 2 y 3: Presionar fuerte con el dedo en lo alto de la lazada y girad la aguja entorno a esta. English: This is an alternative to the turning chain when crocheting in rows but I prefer using it as an alternative to the Ch3 when crocheting a new round. You don't have to cut the yarn and make a seamless join when crocheting in rounds and in just one color as I've read. 1: Elongate the loop the length of a double crochet 2 and 3: Press with your finger at the top of the loop and yarn over with the loop.

7 y 8: Tenemos dos lazadas en la aguja, coger hebra y pasarla a travs de las dos, como un punto alto normal English: 7 and 8: Yarn over and pull through two loops

CRCULOS en varios COLORES / CROCHETING IN THE ROUND with different COLORS Cuando trabajamos en crculos y cambiamos el color del hilo, hacer un standing stitch es mucho ms fcil. STANDING STITCH CON NUDO / WITH SLIP KNOT

Hacer el nudo con el que habitualmente empezamos cualquier trabajo de crochet. Hacer una lazada, insertar la aguja y hacer el punto alto de la forma habitual. Os quedar un pequeo nudo en el primer punto, lo podis esconder en la siguiente vuelta, o deshacerlo una vez que hayis unido la vuelta. English: Make a yarn over before inserting the hook, then continue as you would for a double crochet stitch. STANDING STITCH SIN NUDO / WITHOUT SLIP KNOT

En este caso lo nico importante es la forma de hacer las 3 lazadas en la aguja, desde atrs hacia vosotros, en las fotos se ve bien. Hay tutoriales en que solo se hacen 2 lazadas, he probado las dos formas, y aunque parezca una tontera, no queda igual. Hacer 3 lazadas alrededor de la aguja desde atrs hacia adelante, presionar bien con el dedo e insertar la aguja. Coger hebra, pasar la aguja a travs de 2 lazadas, repetir este paso y deshacer la lazada que queda en la aguja, debe quedar detrs, ya podis continuar trabajando. English: Wrap the yarn around the hook 3 times from back to front for a double crochet (twice for a single crochet and four times for a treble). Insert the hook and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, yarn over and pull through 2 loops, now unwrap the first wrap, it must be at the back of the work

Para finalizar os voy a contar cmo hacer una unin invisible, CERRAR una vuelta en UN CRCULO sin que se note NADA. Lo aprend en un libro de Jan Eaton, es muy fcil y el resultado es fantstico.

UNIN INVISIBLE / SEAMLESS JOIN

Es la tcnica perfecta para que no se note NADA el final de una vuelta, incluso si hacis un crculo de forma tradicional, con las 3 cadenetas, las disimula bastante. Pero esto solo es posible SI CAMBIAMOS DE COLOR. Si trabajamos con un solo color no vamos a cortar el hilo en cada vuelta, por ello lo recomendable es utilizar el primer mtodo explicado de standing stitch. 1. Llegamos al final de la vuelta. 2. Cortar el hilo y tirar de la lazada que tenis en la aguja 3. Enhebrar el hilo en una aguja e introducirla a travs de las 2 lazadas del PUNTO SIGUIENTE a las 3 cadenetas o al standing stitch, el mtodo que hayis elegido. 4. Cerrar un poco English: 1. At the end of the round 2. Cut the yarn and leave a tail. Remove your crochet hook from your work as shown in photo number 2 3. Thread a tapestry needle and insert it under both loops of the stitch which follows the beginning Ch3. Close up. DERECHA- RIGHT HAND

1 y 2. Introducir la aguja en la lazada posterior del ltimo punto alto realizado, desde delate hacia atrs. 3 y 4. Cerrar y rematar English: 1 y 2. Insert the needle in the back loop, from front to back, of the last stitch worked. 3 y 4. Close up and adjust the tension for a perfect join

Si no queris usar una aguja de coser normal, podis usar la propia aguja de crochet, yo lo hago con ella, con un poco de prctica es igual de fcil. English: If you don't want to use a tapestry needle, you can do it with the crochet hook, just need a bit of experience.
