Routine in The Past

This morning I woke up and looked at the clock. It was 9 a.m, I was late for school. I jumped out of the bed and ran into the bathroom. I took off my pyjama and had a shower, but the water was cold, so I got out again. After getting dressed and eating breakfast, I left the table and dropped a cup which broke. I threw the pieces away and went outside, closing the door behind me. Just then I saw the newspaper boy and waited for him. He gave me the newspaper and I saw that it was Sunday so I did not need to go to school.
