CEIP CARRETERA, CANARY ISLANDS (SPAIN): Hello, there! And nice to meet Our School you! In Spanish we say: Hola for hello What about you? We want to introduce ourselves. We are the 6th level class. We are eleven and twelve years old and we study in Carretera School, in Moya (Gran Canaria). The Canary Islands are in the Atlantic Ocean. We are an archipielago, a very special place with seven islands. We are really far away. We live in MOYA and we want to invite you to LOVE OUR TOWN: The Green Village.

Remember: Seven islands and seven islets. We belong to Las Palmas province and the other one is Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Here we are three different islands: Gran Canaria (where we live); Fuerteventura & Lanzarote. We are an important important tourist reference in Europe.

In Gran Canaria we are 17 towns and the capital is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Dont make confussions between our province and our capital. Okay?
