    Flat Stanley

    Flat Stanley
    Flat Stanley is a childrens book written by Jeff Brown in 1964. It tells the story of a boy named Stanley Lambchop who was flattened when a big bulletin board fell on him while he was sleeping. Once Stanley was flat, he could travel all over the world in an envelope!

    We are going to participate in the popular Flat Stanley Project. The Flat Stanley Project started in 1995 as a way for school children to practice their letter-writing as they record where Flat Stanley has gone with them. The first step in this project is to create our own Flat Stanley. Then, we will take a picture of ourselves with Stanley. Finally, we will write a letter to our pen-pals from the Kenzie Elementary School in Chicago.
